Chicken Dinner Tickets . . .

Our first attempt to generate extra income will offer a Spring Chicken dinner on Saturday, March 27.  For an $8 ticket you will enjoy a 3-course meal.  Seatings are at 5pm and 7pm.  For tickets call Jean Palmer, 386-228-0471 or e-mail her at jpalm24@cfl.rr.com.  We will have 70 tickets for each seating. 

 

Concert Feb. 27th . . .

Don't forget our concert by Brenner-Beckstead Ministries on Saturday, Feb. 27th at 7:00 pm.  Sue Brenner and Linda Beckstead will tell their stories of their journey with Christ through their music and stories.  A love offering will be received and their CD's will be available for sale. Let's fill the church.

Outside the Gates . . .

They gave 67 bags this month and so the shelves are bare once again.  Please bring your gifts and place them in the box in the Narthex.

 

Gutter Fund . . .

We are in need of new gutters to preserve our new paint job from the water pouring off the roof and the trustees have authorized a fund to do this problem.  The cost is $1,800.00.  Mark your gifts "Gutter Fund". 

 

CROP Walk  Walkers. . .

Our walkers this year are:  Kathy Wilkes, Clarence & Susie Cain, Betty Doherty, Gwen Purcell, Caryn and Lewis Long, Chape Peake, Earl Smith and Joanne Eloff.  You may contact any of them with your gift to hunger as they witness in our Annual CROP Walk.

 

This Sunday . . .

This  Sunday is the Second Sunday of Lent and we will say good bye to Betty Billings as she moves to Gastonbury, CT to be near family.  My message will be, Keep Going, Today, Tomorrow and the Next, based on Philippians 3:12-41.   Coffee Hour follows worship to honor Betty and then those going to the Fourth Sunday Out will go to Main Street Grill for dinner at 12:30 pm.
